Full hands-on surgical training session on pig’s head. This will also include practical session on non-surgical treatment.
Day 4: One-to-one surgical session with the student:
After the delivery of all previous modules, the student will have to prepare and document a periodontal case from the baseline all the way up to the reassessment stage. During this time, the student will have the freedom to contact me to discuss the planning and the delivery of the periodontal treatment. Once the patient has reached the stage where periodontal surgery would be needed, it will be agreed with the student which procedure will be delivered on a one-to-one basis and location. This would be either the student’s practice (if it is within London area or nearby locations) or at my practice location at Wimpole Street Dental Clinic.
